Reclaimed Hardwood Flooring – Guiness Barrels, Wine Casks, Barn Timbers…

I’ve always enjoyed history. In fact, in the Marines we spent a lot of time learning about history. It only stands to reasons that one of my personal passions is flooring made from structural elements of:

Old textile mills
Wine casks
2-story tall wooden casks from the Guiness brewery in Dublin, Ireland
Old barns
… and more.

Here is a video of Deb, highlighting some of what makes reclaimed flooring so unique.

Think about it, when you have a reclaimed floor, you’re giving the material a 3rd life, from tree, to building, to your floor. And each floor can come with a history like the heart pine from a textile factory in Lindale, Georgia.
Fascinating!
We can even make a complete custom staircase with railings from reclaimed hardwood.
Check out our custom staircase post to see what that’s about.

Comment, ask questions, stir up some conversation, because this is my hot button.
