This Monday, September 29, we will begin installing flooring in our “Green Area” in the Alexandria, Virginia showroom.
Highlights include:
No-VOC adhesives
Natural cork flooring
Reclaimed Heart pine
Radiant subfloor heat (VERY energy efficient)
Marmoleum Click floating floor
Beautiful wool carpet from Stanton
Sorona fiber frisse carpet from Mohawk
Reclaimed heartpine and 600-year-old ancient Chinese elm from Mountain Lumber.
All flooring types have been chosen to show that green can be very fashionable… and that we really do know what we’re talking about.

Installation of the “Green Area” began this morning at 7 a.m. We’re finished with the Grizzly reclaimed heart pine and just now starting on the Natural Cork Edipo “pattern.”
Pictures of the in-process job will be up soon.
